SCRIPTURE READING:
Gen 47:13-26
John 9:1-7
CRISIS, SITUATIONS, CIRCUMSTANCES AND LIFE CHALLENGES CAUSE PAINS. OUT OF THE SAME CRISIS AND ITS PAINS, GOD IS ABLE TO PROVIDE YOU WITH OPPORTUNITIES, AMEN.
When the stakes are high, the mountains quake, the seas roar and doubt seem to occupy your mind, hiding beneath are opportunities for miracle, breakthrough and purpose in life. It is the nature of crisis to destabilise your world and focus, but in Christ we can choose to reach deep and find hidden strength to move forward and tap into opportunity presented by the pain.
The opportunities are hidden by doubt and doubt is nursed by darkness (the absence of light/knowledge). But God is able to help us to emerge from the pains and predicament by clothing us with beauty (breakthrough visions, plans and purposes) for our present ashes (crises and pains), Isaiah 61:3.
You may not feel courageous right now but let the Lion of the Tribe of Judah encourage you and empower you. Let the Holy Spirit take control and quicken your mortal flesh – Romans 8:11
Miracle, breakthrough and real healing that can help you to overcome but will not happen unless you face the facts and express your pain to God in prayer, with supplication and thanksgiving. Take it to God and enquire according to Psalm 13:1-6
FACING THE TRUTH AND ASKING QUESTIONS IS THE FIRST STEP TOWARDS BECOMING WHOLE:
• How did I get here?
• Can I do anything about it God?
• What good can come out of this?
THE LIFE OF AN OVERCOMER:
1. Overcomers go through crisis and pains,
2. Learn which hopes, dreams and expectations are violated or thwarted by the crisis. Carry out the repair work that may be needed (forgiveness) and establish a road map for the future.
DEALING WITH FEELINGS
1. You may feel that nothing will ever be the same again; that’s normal, but change will surely come.
2. Make adjustments in how you work
3. Where you spend time and what you spend time on
4. And how you relate with people.
You may not feel strong today; think of it, you can draw strength from the One who is in Psalm 18:2. Therefore from today:
1. face it
2. Find God in it
3. Follow Him
4. And He will give you a better tomorrow, beauty for ashes, purpose for your pains.
God bless you
